Super Summer Salad Bowl

  • Large bowl of mesclun/ baby spinach/ rocket/ salad greens
    Salad flowers (pansy petals, carnation petals, calendula petals, and nasturtium petals are my favourite to add extra intensity for flavour, spice and crunch
  • Avocado
  • Chopped raw nuts – I used brazil nuts, hazelnuts, walnuts and almonds
  • Ugli fruit pieces (mandarin, orange or any fresh citrus fruit would be delicious)
  • Drizzled with cold pressed olive oil and balsamic vinegar which really heightens the fresh, summer flavours of citrus
